A JOURNEY THROUGH MY CAREER

FROM URUGUAY TO FC BARCELONA

My football career is defined by great moments, from my beginnings at Boston River, to my arrival at FC Barcelona, and my involvement with the Uruguayan national team.

Huracán de Rivera

I started my football career at Huracán de Rivera, the club from my hometown, where I gave it my all from a young age. I was lucky enough to debut in the First Division at just 13 years old, something that still fills me with pride. Every match at Huracán was a tremendous learning experience that allowed me to grow and catch the attention of bigger clubs. It was there that my dream of dedicating myself to football started to become a reality.

Club Atlético Rentistas

In 2015, I moved to Montevideo after signing with Club Atlético Rentistas, marking a key step in my professional development. At Rentistas, I made my professional debut the following year, in 2016, quickly standing out for my defensive strength and maturity on the field. These qualities positioned me as an emerging talent in Uruguayan football and paved the way for my future in elite football.

Boston river

In 2017, I took an important step in my career by joining Boston River, a club that opened its doors for me to continue growing as a player. It was a time full of learning and challenges, where I had the opportunity to establish myself in professional football. At Boston River, I was able to showcase my game and refine my style, facing high-level opponents. Every match was an opportunity to improve and give my all on the field, always proud to represent the club. Without a doubt, my time at Boston River was key to reaching bigger goals in my career.

The Leap to Barcelona

In 2018, I was given the chance to join Barcelona B, and I always aimed to earn a spot in the first team. In 2019, I made my debut against Sevilla, and in 2020, I scored my first goal with Barça. One of the greatest moments came in 2021, when I played my first El Clásico at the Bernabéu and even scored a goal. In 2023, my teammates elected me as third captain, something I am extremely proud of.

With La Celeste

Debuting with the national team was a dream come true in 2020. I also played in the 2021 Copa América, although an injury posed some challenges. In 2023, during the World Cup qualifiers, I scored my first goal with Uruguay in an amazing match against Argentina. Wearing La Celeste is always an honor.

Each step I’ve taken in my career has taught me something new, both personally and professionally. My journey isn’t over, and I continue with the same passion and dedication I had when I first started playing as a kid in Rivera. We keep moving forward, with many more goals to achieve!
